Hotel SANUS, Stará Turá
Hotel SANUS situated in a pleasant and peaceful locality by the water reservoir
called Dubnik, in the area of The White Carpathians. The holiday area Dubnik
offers lots of possibilities for agrotourists, muschroom pickers, fanciers for
horsedriding, agro-bikers. Through Stara Tura guides the main Slovak bicycle
track.
During summer time there are opportunities for swimming and other water sports, in winter time - for skiing and skating. Hotel SANUS offers 40 comfort furnished double rooms, 5 apartments and 10 family type suites. Rooms for education, social meetings, congress hall with capacity of 100 persons. Restaurant with bioproducts, vegetarian diet, summer terrace, sauna, classical and underwater massages, whirling and bubble baths, scotch shoots, paraffin wrappings and fitness centre. Hotel SANUS - without barriers offers relaxation stays for disabled persons on wheel chair, too. In Lubina village there are eco-gardening, fruit collection. In Vadovce and other villages there is herbex (herbal planting + production of the herbal tea bags).
Trencianske Teplice Spa
The basis of the complete balneotherapy in Trene`ianske Teplice are the thermal
mineral springs, mineralised sulphur mud and a high quality mountain turf. The
thermal springs belong due to their chemical composition to the group of
sulphur - calcium - magnesium - thermal - hypotonic mineral waters with a higher
content of fluorine. The ideal temperature from 37 - 40.3 °C enables to use the
thermal water in the natural form without any adjustments. The sulphur mineral
mud ripens in a pool with thermal water and is applied in form of compressions.
The contents of anti-inflammatory components in the turf, its sourness and
ability to preserve warmth, are ideal for application by rheumatic diseases.
The spa is equipped with devices for diagnostic and treatment of diseases of the motion apparatus which are on a clinical level (check-up by the doctor, functional laboratory for cardiovascular system). The spa treatment is lead by the team of specialists in balneology, physiatry, rehabilitation, rheumathology, neurology, orthopaedy, manual therapy and acupuncture.
