Stara Tura Environmental education centre Dubnik
The centre for environmental education is situated in a pleasant and peaceful locality by the water reservoir called Dubnik in the area of The White Carpathians. The holiday area Dubník offers lot of possibilities for agro-tourists, mushroom pickers, fanciers of horse riding. There is main Slovak bicycle track for agro bikers. Swimming and water sports. In winter time skiing and skating. Hotel SANUS offers 40 comfort furnished double rooms, 5 apartments and 10 family type suites. Hotel without barriers offers relaxation stays for disabled persons on wheel-chair, too. There are rooms for education, social meetings, congress hall with capacity of 100 persons. Sauna, classical and under-water massages, whirling and bubble baths, Scotch shoots, paraffin, wrappings and fitness centre. Restaurant with bio-products, vegetarian diet. Summer terrace. The region is known as a producer of herbal tea (Herbex), bryndza (typical Slovak cheese in Slovak national dish called "bryndzove halusky"). There are eco-gardens with fruits, vegetables.

Ecotrend is our advisor and partner for ecological gardening. Ecological Agriculture Druzstvo Lehotka (Mr. Alexander Velits) Ecofarm Pribovce. Selling of the bio products, cheese, yoghurt, milk, butter, eggs, etc. There is possibility for anybody to buy bio-products and to come for stage and practical education. The ecofarm has was established 14 years ago.
